Information about the cottage village
About our holiday cabins
Our cabins offer everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a shower, toilet and electric heating. In some cottages you can also enjoy a cosy wood burning stove. All cottages have been renovated in recent years and are equipped with TV, wifi, veranda, garden furniture and sun loungers. Click on the tabs below for more info.
When should I pay for the holiday home?
The rent is always paid in advance. For bookings during the high season, SEK 600 per cottage is payable at the time of booking and the balance is payable no later than 30 days before arrival. In low season, the full rent is payable at least 14 days before arrival.
The high season covers weeks 8-9 (winter and Easter holidays), 25-32 (summer), and 51-52 (Christmas and New Year's holidays). During the high season, rentals are mainly weekly, but it is possible to book at least three nights. During major holidays such as Christmas and New Year, special rental periods may apply.
During the low season, rentals are available for weekends or single days. Arrival and departure times can be adapted by arrangement.
Contact us for more information.
How do I cancel?
For cancellations during the high season, a cancellation fee of SEK 250 per cottage is charged, if the cancellation is made at least 30 days before arrival. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before arrival, the rental amount will be refunded only if the cottage can be rented to someone else. These rules also apply during the spring and autumn markets, but the advance payment of SEK 600 is not covered by these conditions.
During the low season, no cancellation fee is charged. However, there is an administrative fee of SEK 100 for refunding paid rent.
Cancellation cover
To avoid high cancellation costs in the event of illness or other impediments, you can buy a cancellation insurance for SEK 300 per cabin. This cover entitles you to a refund of the rental amount in the event of cancellation, with certain deductions:
- SEK 250 is retained as a cancellation fee.
- The cost of the cancellation insurance (SEK 300) is not refundable.
Can I change my booking?
You can change your booking in terms of date, cabin or supplement. Changes during high season are subject to a change fee of SEK 250 per occasion. During low season, changes are free of charge.
What rules apply to accommodation?
The guest is liable for any damage caused to the property and its contents due to negligence. Violations of the no smoking and no pets rules will result in a clean-up fee of 4000 SEK. You may not use the cottage for anything other than what was agreed at the time of booking, nor may you allow more people to stay in the cottage than stated at the time of booking. Subletting is not permitted.
The agreement ceases to apply with immediate effect if the tenant or someone in the same company behaves in a disruptive manner, causes damage to the cottage and the facility or uses the accommodation for an unintended purpose.
The tenant is responsible for ensuring that the cottage is cleaned on departure. An uncleaned cottage will be invoiced at SEK 1500. Information about cleaning is available in each cottage.
For booked departure cleaning, the guest only needs to
- wash the dishes and put the crockery in the cupboards
- take out the rubbish
- take away any food left in the cupboards
- fold the duvets together with the pillows on the bed
- leave any rented bed linen and towels by the front door.

Check-in information via code lock
At 14:00 on the day of arrival, you will receive a text message with a code for the key box located at the cottage, next to the front door. It contains a key that you can use during your stay. The earliest check-in time is 15:00 and the latest check-out time is 11:00 on departure. The key must be left in the key box located at the holiday home. Remember to change the code when you put the key in so that no other unauthorised person can take it out.
Lost keys will be charged with SEK 1200.
Remember that we use the same mobile phone number as the cottage is booked on for important information. It is possible to change the phone number afterwards. Contact us if you have any questions.
Pets are allowed in most cottages, at an additional cost. Please note this when booking. For allergy sufferers, pet-free cabins are available in different sizes. All cottages are non-smoking and we kindly ask you to respect this.
The cottages have duvets and pillows, but guests need to bring their own bed linen and towels. Bed linen can be hired if required, please indicate this when booking. Guests are also responsible for bringing toilet paper and kitchen roll.
Holidaymakers sort their own waste and take it to the village recycling centre. See map for location.
There are limited parking facilities in the holiday village, please remember to park so that several people can fit. We do not have space for motorhomes, caravans and trailers. These types of vehicles therefore need to be parked elsewhere. Click on the pictures of the cabins to read more.
